Overview

AppWishMark is designed with your privacy in mind. The app does not require an account and does not collect your name, email, contacts, or location. This policy explains the limited data the app processes and why.

Data Stored on Your Device

Your wishlist, categories, price history, notes, reminders, and settings are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. We have no access to this data.

iCloud Backup

If you choose to back up, AppWishMark writes a backup file to your own iCloud Drive. It is stored by Apple under your Apple ID and is only accessible to you. We cannot see or access it.

Network Requests

The app connects to the following services:

Apple iTunes Lookup API (itunes.apple.com) — to fetch publicly available app information such as names, icons, prices, and descriptions. Only App Store app IDs and your selected region are sent.
AppWishMark config server (appwishmark-config.vercel.app) — to download the lists of Featured and Discovery apps. When you archive a Featured or Discovery app, an anonymous event containing only the App Store app ID, the list type, and a timestamp is sent. No user or device identifier is included.
OneSignal — to deliver push notifications (see below).

Like any internet service, these servers may briefly log your IP address as part of normal operation.

Notifications

Price-drop, target-price, and reminder notifications are generated entirely on your device.
Push notifications (occasional announcements) are delivered through OneSignal, a third-party push notification service. To do this, OneSignal receives a push token and a randomly generated subscription ID for your device, along with basic technical information such as device model, OS version, app version, language, time zone, and notification interaction (for example, whether a notification was opened). This data is not linked to your identity and is not used for advertising or tracking. You can turn off notifications at any time in iOS Settings. Website Links

The "Submit your App to Discovery" option opens appwishmark.com in your browser. The website has its own privacy practices; nothing from the app is shared with it.
